Dr. Amos Chon DC
Doctor of Chiropractic

Dr. Amos Young Won Chon is a second generation Korean American and graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic West. He graduated from Southern Adventist University with a bachelor’s degree in biology as well as minors in chemistry and music. Dr. Chon has been interested in the healthcare field since middle school and has volunteered hundreds of hours at hospitals, nursing homes, visited elderly shut-ins, and homeless shelters. He also had the privilege to serve in rural Bolivia for six months as a self-supported missionary and served the native American Indians in eastern Montana for a week as a summer bible camp director for young children.

Most recently, he has served the Navajo Native American Indians, people of China, Bolivia and Kenya with chiropractic care. Dr. Chon’s first encounter with a chiropractor was when he suffered from severe scoliosis as a child. Not only did the chiropractor help him add another inch to his height, he demonstrated the type of invaluable quality care that chiropractors provide to their patients – for life.

His goal today with chiropractic care is to treat the person in a natural and non-invasive method while educating patients with practical and effective knowledge towards living a long, healthy, and happy life. He has been taught and mentored by Dr. Nicholas Athens in San Carlos, CA – former chiropractor for the San Francisco 49ers and a leading figure for the chiropractic profession. Dr. Chon has been actively supporting the profession by lobbying in Washington, D.C. and actively looking for ways to expand chiropractic care locally and internationally.

Dr. Chon is a classically trained cellist and actively plays for church services, with local orchestra(s), weddings, recitals, as well as give private lessons. He has toured internationally and in the US as a principal cellist and soloist. He is also an avid photographer and loves to immerse himself in nature whenever given the opportunity.
