   Dr. Matson grew up in a small town surrounded by family and farmland in the Central Valley of California. As a dancer and avid runner from a very young age, she became interested in the function of the human body. Dr. Matson attended California State University, Fresno where she cultivated her interests and graduated with honors with a Bachelors in Kinesiology and Exercise Science.
     Dr. Matson’s passion for the healing arts combined with her interests in physical activity and human development led her to attend Palmer West College of Chiropractic where she graduated with honors with her Doctorate of Chiropractic degree.
    Dr. Matson applies her knowledge of movement patterns and physiology to help patients find natural ways to address their concerns. She utilizes a combination of traditional adjustments as well other gentle approaches, such as Sacral Occpital Technique, cranial work and muscle release in her treatments. Dr. Matson also instructs patients on sleep, work, commute and exercise postures to partner with her patients to promote optimal function and health.
    In her spare time she enjoys ballet, kick boxing and hiking with her husband, Scot and their dog, Sasha.
