During this initial stage of intensive care, we have several obligations: Uncover the underlying cause of the health problem; Suggest a care plan to produce the fastest results possible; Offer ways patients can participate in their recovery; Explain the value of post-symptomatic wellness care.
Corrective Care
Feeling better is great, but many people choose to go a step beyond this stage. Acupuncturist, Bellevue, WA Perform needling and acupuncture treatments to long-term clients; collect and study new patient intake forms and chart notes to prepare for treatments; conduct new patient exams, taking tongue and pulse and asking questions about the 10 areas of health; form Chinese medical diagnoses based on the exam; create treatment plan based on Chinese medical diagnoses; prescribe Chinese herbs unique to each patient’s condition; chart medical notes for each patient treatment; order various lengths and sizes of needles; perform callbacks to check in with progress of treatment plans. Valid Acupuncturist License required. Master’s degree in Acupuncture or Chinese Herbal Medicine plus 1 month of experience in job offered or as Assistant Acupuncturist.
